How much has the Church failed God in America since 1973?

Got into a discussion on a friend's timeline today, for the sake of civility and privacy hiding all names but my own. Managed to get a copy before everything was deleted. Sometimes you wonder why God steers you clear of people who teach and preach and seem very Christian, but over time, God has used Social Media to show me the WHY of the distance, and the need for it! All I can do is is be the Watchmen of Ezekiel 3 as Jesus was in his lifetime and pray for the Church’s reformation because, in America, the Church has strayed far from Jesus! The older I grow, the more I am broken by my sin in hindsight having greater wisdom now and the sin I see around me, and my prayer is not only for forgiveness, but for more sanctification, not less, because at times I am like Isaiah in the Lord’s temple, and saddened by the uncleanness I find in myself & my world! I can only be cleansed by Jesus shed blood when I am faithful to ask for forgiveness and more wisdom in how to live holy and not bring the shame and failure of yesterday into today! But we are a democracy because power resides with the people, the Greek word for which is “demos” — hence democracy. If we’re not a democracy, why vote? Commentor 2: Poster, gotcha. George Walter Bratcher III: Poster, Many Americans would be surprised to learn that the word Democracy does not appear in the Declaration of Independence or the US Constitution. Nor does it appear in any of the Constitutions of the 50 States. The founders did everything they could to keep us from having a Democracy. James Madison rightly known as the Father of the Constitution wrote in essay 10 of The Federalist Papers: “. . . democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property, and in general, have been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.” Alexander Hamilton agreed and he stated, “We are a Republican Government. Real liberty is never found in the despotism or in the extremes of Democracy.” Samuel Adams, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, stated, “Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself.” A true Republic is one where the Government is limited by law, leaving the people alone. America's founders had a clean slate to write on; they could have set up an Oligarchy, in fact, there were some who wanted George Washington to be their King, but the founding Fathers knew history and chose to give us the rule of law in a Republic, not the rule of the majority in a Democracy. Why? Let's demonstrate the difference in the setting of the Old West: Consider a lynch mob in a Democracy: 35 horseback riders chase one lone gunman; they catch him, and they vote 35 to 1 to hang him. Democracy has triumphed and there is one less gunman to contend with. Now consider the same scenario in a Republic: The 35 horseback riders catch the gunman and vote 35 to 1 to hang him, but the Sheriff arrives and he says, "You can't kill him, he's got his right to a fair trial!" So they take the gunman back to town. A jury of his peers is selected, and they hear the evidence and the defense and they decide if he shall hang. Does the jury even decide by majority rule? No, it has to be unanimous, or he goes free. The rights of the gunman are not subject to majority rule but to the law. This is the essence of a Republic! Is this why most schools have done away with the Pledge of Allegiance? When the founders criticized democracy they were thinking of a direct democracy, which the US is not. A republic is a form of government in which the people — in Greek “demos” — elect representatives to do their business, i. e., the House and Senate. Read Federalist 68 for Hamilton’s justification of the electoral college. He didn’t trust “the mob,” you know, people like you and me to elect a president. But then, neither did he envision electors doing the bidding of a political party. Electors serve an ad hoc function and are not part of the structure of the federal government, which is defined in articles I, II, and III of the Constitution. My fight is different because my generation suffered genocide at the hands of Progressives for the sake of corrupt power to keep politicians in office longer than they should have been: A commenter on another post said, "A Civil War has begun!" to which I replied: A war has been being waged against America since 1973, but too many Americans turned a blind eye to it, and then in 1990, phase TWO of that war was implemented and Americans were blind to it because Congress & the Media kept it hidden. Before 1973, politicians would cycle in and out of office with the change in generations, but the war began in earnest in 1973 when 1.5 million Generation X babies were murdered each year, so by the time I began to vote in 1986, my generations' votes were never going to be greater than the Baby Boomer's generation who have been able to keep corrupt politicians in office 50, 40, 30 years & my generation could not change the course since we were decimated with a generational genocide through abortion. What you are seeing with the looting, rioting, and burning of our cities, is the same genocidal murderers of Generation X now throwing a fit because 200,000 Baby Boomers dying in an election year via COVID19 has them scared their grip on power is coming to an end since Millennials who are bigger will not follow in their Grandparents' footsteps having elected Trump to office. The Progressives' fear is that they will not have ENOUGH foreigner immigrants brought into the USA at 1 million annually before the Baby Boomers die off to continue to keep them in POWER in DC and across the country! The poster taught the Ethics Class in the graduate school I attended from 1992-1993 working on an M. DIV there, and after my last comment, he deleted his entire post, and once Biden was allowed to steal the election and Hunter's porn pics of himself and underaged girls appeared on Parler, which Amazon then deleted from their servers, all the Professor's anti-Trump and Pro-Biden POSTS were wiped clean from his Facebook account.  Having BLOGGED online for the 30 years after I left his classes, I learned eating crow was a good thing, and humbling, and necessary if you are to grow in the TRUTH and serve Jesus faithfully!

Some of my former professors from my religion and philosophy classes of 1986-1993 should be humble enough to eat crow because NO ONE is right 100% of the time.  A wise man learns more from his mistakes than his successes in life.  When you are so insecure you can't bare to contemplate you may have been wrong, then you embrace the sin of pride, that got Satan kicked out of Heaven along with 1/3rd of the angels and you allow Satan's spirit of pride and his native tongue of lies to blind you to the truth and hamper any sanctification the Holy Spirit might accomplish in your life!  If you are not careful, you may become the salt that loses its saltiness! https://youtu.be/MemNi3OMU34
